Exciting Opportunity as a Controller at Ashton North LLC

Are you a seasoned finance pro looking for a top leadership gig in the accounting world? Ashton North LLC, a big U.S. manufacturing player based in Schaumburg, IL, is on the hunt for a Controller to run the financial show for our division. This role is all about teaming up with divisional leaders, boosting performance, and shaking things up in a fast-paced environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Handling journal entries, financial statements, and month-end close tasks
• Making sure we're on the up and up with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls
• Taking the lead on financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis
• Managing reconciliations, keeping the general ledger in check, and prepping for tax time
• Keeping an eye on accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and collections

Required Skills:

• Being a CPA and having a solid background in public accounting
• Knowing your way around financial statements, internal control, and financial analysis
• Being a whiz at month-end close processes and reconciliations
• Being able to handle the general ledger, taxes, and financial reporting like a pro
• Having a good grasp of accounting principles and forecasting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with reimbursement processes and collections
• Knowing the ins and outs of finance operations and billing procedures
