As a member of the Global MCC Tax Team, the Tax Manager will assist with identifying and documenting cross border transactions and transfer pricing audit support. The Tax Manager will oversee VAT compliance and assist with risk mitigation and audit response. They will also assist with the preparation and review of international tax provision calculations for local statutory and U.S. GAAP tax accounting purposes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare/review transfer pricing documentation globally
• Analyze cross border transactions
• Project manage VAT returns and assist with audits
• Collaborate with Treasury on tax efficient cash repatriation strategies
• Assist with non-U.S. legal entity rationalization
• Assist with the year-end tax provision process and review with external tax consultants; preparation/review of related supporting schedules and documentation
• Communicate with local tax authorities to resolve notices and audits
• Assist with tax integration activities of newly acquired entities
• Review royalty model and assist with local entity questions and support
• Research withholding tax issues related to royalty, service, dividend, and interest payments
• Monitor foreign tax returns and statutory account filings
• Assist with global cash tax estimates

The Pe rson

• 5-7 years of experience in tax at a corporation or accounting firm;
• W orking knowledge of international statutory and US GAAP tax accounting
• Bachelor degree required, CPA, MBA, JD, or MST preferred;
• Experience with corporate enterprise systems such as SAP preferred;
• Project management experience preferred
