Tax compliance, planning, and research for SNC and subsidiaries. Research Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to assist with compliance with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits. Support of DCAA & financial statement audits.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Oversight of annual corporate federal income tax return preparation.
• Oversight of preparation of state income tax returns for more than 20 states.
• Review of federal and state income tax projections
• Recommend tax planning strategies for tax savings
• Research various federal and state income tax situations and assist with compliance
• Research payroll tax situations and provide recommendations for compliance
• Research and coordinate applications for state and local tax incentive programs
• Research the appropriate documents required to do business in additional states
• Support tax related due diligence for possible acquisitions
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with other accounting and finance duties as necessary.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelors degree required/CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax experience with previous supervisory experience.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• This position requires strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and strong analytical abilities.
