Collect and monitor non-exempt employee data through the time/labor module, audit and resolve time/labor exceptions; gather, compile, input and validate various data including paid time off, incentives, short term disability, stock options, and retroactive pay; calculate termination pay, including hours due, and prorated paid time off. 2. Calculate and prepare manual payroll checks and associated payroll adjustments, including those for terminated employees to ensure compliance with applicable laws. 3. Research and resolve payroll-related issues from employees and management; communicate payroll and human resource policies and procedures to employees and managers, and provide guidance for processes and changes. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve processing errors and system issues identified during the pre-calculation process. 5. Balance control totals and resolve exceptions on monthly incentives and ensure the proper level of approval is documented. 6. Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliant payroll practices including proper documentation and approval for payment adjustments. 7. Compile employee data and generate spreadsheets for reporting various information to city, state, and federal agencies. 8. Provide query report information to management as required. 9. Perform testing of system bundle installations and tax installations and provide documented support of testing results. 10. Perform positive pay confirmations with Bank of Oklahoma daily. 11. Gather information and complete workers compensation wage statements for Legal Department. Prorates expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records. Monitors and tracks vacation and time-off requests. Tracks service dates and awards. Files payroll and benefits information. Enters medical and dental monthly premium payments and Stakeholder retirement information (percents and vesting). Assists in Stakeholder verifications, balancing payroll reports, entering stakeholder data in the ADP system, and setting up and responding to garnishments.
