Tax Accounting Manager Location: Conway, AR Role Summary This individual will have supervisory responsibilities for income tax accounting for US and non-US operations, with solid line reporting to the Director of Tax and dotted line reporting to the VP Finance/Controller. Responsibilities Provide technical income tax accounting expertise. Coordinate quarterly and annual income tax provisions and tax footnote disclosures for financial statement reporting (FAS 109, 10Q, 10K). Manage the financial statement and tax reporting for non-cash compensation awards (FAS 123R). Manage and update the financial statement reporting for uncertain income tax positions (FIN 48). Manage the roll-forward and prove-out of deferred tax assets and liabilities. Reconcile the general ledger accounts related to income taxes. Coordinate the Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance measures as they relate to income tax provisions in the financial statements. Assist as necessary with the income tax return compliance process. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting. CPA license required. 4-5 yearsexperience with a Big Four CPA firm or a large corporate tax function, with recent work experience specifically in the income tax accounting area. Strong technical income tax accounting skills and understanding of US GAAP. Experience with publicly traded companies a plus. Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Power Point. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and supervise others.
