The The Brief Summaries:Billing Specialist?s are responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments for all customers.  This position requires in depth knowledge of Billing best practices, to include suggesting and implementing process improvements.  A Billing Specialist supports the team in reviewing invoice jobs and queries, entering and adjusting invoices, reprinting invoices and statements, processing route paperwork, entering deposits, and applying payments.   This position will require critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve systems issues and billing/payment discrepancies.   A Billing specialist will assist with period, quarterly, and annual financial closings.  A Billing Specialist will be expected to work in a team environment and communicate billing activity with internal stakeholders. Accounts Payable Coordinator?s are responsible for processing vendor invoices and related paperwork, in accordance with accounting guidelines and GMCR internal controls, in order to produce payments to vendors and accurate financial records.  This position requires interaction and collaboration across the company to obtain appropriate approvals for invoice entry into PeopleSoft.  The AP Coordinator must have a strong command of the details as well as the overall business process and the integration points with the Accounts Payable function.  This position will assist the Accounts Payable Supervisor with new system implementation and process improvement initiatives as well as complicated issues related to the Accounts Payable department. Accounts Receivable Specialist?s are responsible for deposit entry and payment application.  An AR Specialist is critical to maintaining accurate deposit records and assists with period, quarterly, and annual financial closings.  AR Specialists are expected to work in a team environment and communicate receivable activity with internal stakeholders. Responsible for inventory control for non-site specific inventory and monitor the cycle count programs at sites.Implement procedures to enhance inventory control teams? performance and pro-actively suggest process changes to site inventory control teams to meet targets.Serve as subject matter expert for super users on the inventory sub-ledger and financial accounting systems.Support the development of a strong internal control environment for inventory control.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's Principles, policies and applicable laws. This position also provides accounting support and guidance across entire business organization.
