Responsibilities: Responsible for review of weekly Common Trust Fund valuations, income distributions and purchases/sales Complete preparation of Common Trust Fund financial statements, resolution of all accounting related GAAP issues and the coordination of the audit of said financial statements Responsible for coordinating annual FDICIA review Calculation and collection of various intercompany charges and maintaining related agreements Work with Controller to prepare plan and forecast for Board Meetings Participate in regional report preparation, expense monitoring, reporting for Plan and forecasts Assist with forecasting and monitoring cash flow Prepare periodic reporting, monitoring compliance with loan covenants, and processing interest payments Miscellaneous invoices and corporate items paid by Treasury initial review/oversight Summarize covered transactions, regulatory capital measurements and participate in special projects related to General Ledger based data Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of GAAP, solid analytical skills and detail oriented. CPA preferred but not required. Sound knowledge of internal controls Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Microsoft Access and/or PeopleSoft general ledger system a plus. Proven ability to work well in and contribute to a team environment. Excellent organization and communication skills. Shows tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation. Demonstrates ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments from more than one manager in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy. Has excellent attention to detail, and executes responsibilities with a sense of urgency and follow-through. Candidate must be flexible and adaptable to rapid changes in the daily work environment and be resourceful in solving problems. Capable of working overtime sometimes with minimal advance notice
