Providing leadership in identifying, monitoring, researching, communicating and implementing new U.S. GAAP pronouncements and SEC reporting requirements. Preparing and delivering SEC compliant external quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and related footnotes. Developing and publishing globally applicable accounting policies. Working closely with the external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit. Supporting the annual assessment of the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404. Contributing to other accounting and reporting projects and the implementation of best practices. Bachelors degree in Accounting (CPA certification highly desired). Audit experience in a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm. Must have 5+ years experience in public accounting or technical corporate accounting, with 3+ years SEC reporting experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft office proficiency and proven ability to develop relationships across departments and cultures and to work with global teams as both a leader and a participant. A demonstrated high level of initiative with the ability to work independently and proactively to identify issues and offer solutions. Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks in an environment of changing priorities.
