ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Month end accruals and analysis Reconciliation of accrued liability accounts Auditing A/P invoices to insure job costing is accurate Auditing vendor statements 1099 process Sales Tax preparation and remittance Month end adjustments Timely and accurate payroll and bonus payments to employees with heavy job costing Payroll interface into general ledger using IIF files Allocation journal entries into general ledger using IIF files Maintain inventory of parts on trucks and warehouses Prepaid transactions and reconciliations Deposits, Cash, and all current assets reconciliations Analytical Excel spreadsheets Support personnel as necessary Tasks as assigned NON - ESSENTIAL TASKS Telephone support Coordinate backup for year end audits with outside auditors Provide administrative support for Branch Manager, sales and operation team Work closely with Branch Staff to coordinate smooth monthly closings ACCOUNTABILITIES: Ability to be assertive to follow up on issues and responsible in adhering to deadlines Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and take direction from the Controller with strong orientation for detail, accuracy and following the company processes KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Excellent Job Costing knowledge with relations to profit and loss reports Advanced EXCEL skills Experience with Quick Books software Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Communicate professionally with customers and other associates Excellent written and communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of personnel, especially senior management.
